In the heart of Cairo, Silver Palm Apartment offers a visual and emotional retreat. A masterclass in material harmony, spatial discipline, and cultural references, the home was designed by Mirette Badr and brought to life by Kilany. The result is a calm, grounded space that speaks softly β but with clear architectural intention.

The color palette evokes natural serenity. Sage green cabinetry, natural oak wood, and warm beige tiles dominate the material vocabulary. But itβs not just color that grounds this apartment β itβs texture and craftsmanship. In the kitchen, wavy black and white granite stitches together the oak and sage, subtly echoing the organic flow of foliage. The βpop of jungle greenβ doesnβt scream β it whispers.
One of the visual anchors of the home is a unique single slab that acts as a sculptural centerpiece in the reception. Paired with warm wood tones and clean lighting design, it becomes both artwork and architecture. In the guest bathroom, Thai culture meets Egyptian context β handwoven fabric panels, Pietra Gray marble, and natural wood produce a meditative space that feels remote yet connected to the overall apartment identity.
